I want to write a quick review of the Etheridge team (specifically, Maggie and Eddie Ureno) that has been LONG over due. We retained this team beginning back in 1987/1988 when we purchased and sold our home in Diamond Bar, respectively. Unfortunately, this area was outside their jurisdiction, so they referred us to agents in that area, because of their willingness to help without any motive other than to help us!....(these qualities aren't easy to find). When we were ready to buy our home (2004) in Orange County, I remembered their excellent service and asked them to help us. Our experience in finding our home in Huntington Beach with them was exactly as I had expected. Their attitude was "it's all about our customer and they come first". They put us in a home that was perfect for us by listening and digesting all of our needs to ultimately find our perfect place! So, perfect we are still living in it. In 2012, we decided to buy an investment home and called them for advice and service. Once again, they took their time to walk us through all of our options: financially, personally, emotionally, etc. The whole experience went SO smoothly and we knew exactly what to expect. Fortunately for us, Property Management is another service they provide. And, again, we've been so lucky to have them as our Property Manager for the last 5 years in this capacity. Same quality service. Same quality professionalism. They take care of everything and know the industry, unparalleled. Their experience in the industry is what lured us to them but their customer service is what made us stick with them for the last 30 years. We met the Etheridge team in June 2007 when we moved back to CA from out of state. We were rushed to find a home before school started in September. We interviewed a number of realtors who responded without regard for our wishes or any sense of urgency. It was almost like they weren't listening to us. As a last resort, we found The Etheridge Team by way of a referral service. I still remember my first conversation with Maggie and the sense of relief that flooded over me. Finally! Someone who "got" what we were looking for and was going to hustle to find us what we needed. Both Martie and Maggie did tons of work previewing properties, communicating with us, and taking us to view the ones that fit our checkboxes. They never made us feel like we were bugging them or demanding too much with our questions and requests for research. They found our "this-is-the-one" place and we moved in the week school started for our Kindergarten kid! We lived in that perfect little townhouse for almost 9 years. Of course, we called the Etheridge Team to guide us through selling our current property and finding a new home. I have a binder full of info about how things went down between December and March, but the important point is that we were able to sell our townhouse and move directly into our new house without even needing to live in an interim place (only achieved by hours - but it still worked in our favor!). It's an intense process to buy/sell at the same time, but we survived through the Etheridge's careful guidance, reassurances, and the secure feeling that they know what they are doing and will work through the "bumps in the road" that inevitably pop up.
